Plan

Summary

  • Make a thin slab

  • make a cat

  • put the cat on to of the slab

  • add underglaze and details

For my final I decided to do the painting "Cat and Bird" by Paul Klee. I added holes in the ears to hold earrings. It was a really good idea at first until it all broke when it was fired.

Background

Reflection

Paul Klee created "Cat and Bird" to blend reality and imagination, using simple forms to explore the relationship between creatures.

If I was to redo this I would take more time on it and add more slip. Overall, I think this is a good ideas that was poorly made.
